Projects
Some of the current projects being undertaken by FAST are related to further growth work for BHP Billiton Iron Ore.
They include:
The construction of Jimblebar mine. Located 40 kilometres east of Newman, this development work encompasses a new ore processing plant, the procurement of mining equipment and new rolling stock to deliver massive capacity growth over the next four years; and
The ongoing development of Port Hedland Inner Harbour, with the construction of two additional berths, shiploaders, a car dumper and port blending infrastructure.
